GSH is one of the world’s leading companies in Facilities and Energy Management. Our strength comes from state-of-the-art technology, built on solid engineering originating in 1895 when George Scarr Hall, founded the company. In 1969, the Group added a Service and Maintenance Division and since 1982, focused solely on providing Facilities Management solutions.
The Group has a network of offices across Great Britain, Ireland, America and Europe and undertake every aspect of facilities management in various industry sectors, tailoring contracts to clients’ individual requirements, understanding our customers’ objectives.
In April 2005, we became GSH Group plc and floated on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), with a strategy to grow both organically and by acquisitions.
During 2006 we made two acquisitions, one in the Netherlands, and one based in Rochdale, in the UK. Both acquisitions have already been fully integrated into the GSH portfolio and we have already seen positive contributions. This is in-line with our strategy to target strategic acquisitions that develop our business to create long-term shareholder value. In March 2007 we acquired Delta Environmental Services Ltd in a deal which will further strengthen the Group’s existing specialist air-conditioning offering in the marketplace.
GSH are specialists in innovative energy management and guarantee energy cost-savings at no extra cost to the customer. In a proactive approach towards Climate Change, in April 2007 GSH announced its joint venture with Perpetual Energy forming the company GSH Perpetual energy Ltd (GSHPE) with the mission to lead the business world into a new era of responsible energy use.
GSHPE has been established to meet the growing market demand for cost-efficient, environmentally friendly energy consumption, working with clients to determine ways to reduce energy consumption and replace energy sources with alternatives such as combined heat and power, photovoltaic (solar panels), wind and biomass. |
