NET has sourced a range of light-emitting diode (LED) lighting solutions and is marketing these products as NET LED Tubes™ and NET LED Lamps™.

The product range consists of low energy replacements for the fluorescent tube & halogen style lamps. These contain LEDs which provide a similar light output but with around 65% less power consumption. This results in lower electricity bills, reduced labour maintenance costs and a reduction in your company’s carbon footprint.

NET LED Tubes™ contain no glass, phosphor, mercury, or lead, all typically found in fluorescent tubes. Furthermore, no ultra violet (UV) light is produced, and the light does not flicker or hum. Of the 80 million lamps that are being disposed of each year, many of these are not disposed of properly and are simply sent to landfill sites, exposing people and the environment to toxic and hazardous materials.

NET LED Lighting’s ethos is to encourage a responsible attitude to environmental protection through the economic use of energy; and to encourage the safe disposal and eventual abolition of fluorescent tubes & halogen style lamps.
