Market-leading products


In 2007, AmbiRad has introduced a new radiant tube range that represents the next generation of heating systems. AmbiRad Vision is the most exciting development in radiant heating technology of recent years.
The Vision range of radiant tube heaters is available in linear, double linear, U-tube and herringbone configurations and run on natural gas or LPG. A wide range of heat outputs is available, answering the heating needs of the majority of large scale buildings.

Radiant heating works like the sun, emitting infra-red rays that warm only objects and people in their path. There are two significant advantages to the physical properties of radiant heating – first, it does not heat the volume of air in the building, thereby saving fuel, money and cutting down emissions. Second, it focuses the heat exactly where it is required – at the lowest two metres of the building, where people are working.

Radiant takes minutes to reach comfort temperatures, so energy is never wasted in prolonged warm-up times. If external doors are opened, allowing cold air to enter the building, radiant heating will recover comfort temperatures in just a few minutes.

Other energy efficient ranges


AmbiRad is also a major supplier of warm air heating units, an ideal solution for modern, well insulated buildings, or where conditions within the building preclude the use of radiant tube heating.

The final piece in the energy saving heating jigsaw is the overdoor air curtain, supplied under the Airbloc brand. These energy saving devices deliver a sheet of ambient or warmed air across a doorway at critical velocity, effectively separating the internal environment from the external.

This is a highly effective method of preserving interior comfort conditions, particularly where doors must be kept open for prolonged periods, such as in retail shops and warehouses. Heat is ‘sealed’ within the building; cold air from outside cannot penetrate (Airbloc air curtains can resist winds of up to 11-15mph). Dust, fumes and flying insects are also excluded, making it ideal for regulated environments such as food production.
